Industrial process: Chemical engineering principles and
the princip behind a chemical process. Overview about the Swedish
chemical industry.
Basic chemical engineering: Material balances. Mutilphase
systems. Energy balances.
Computional methods: Matlab. Numerical methods for linear
equation systems, non-linear equation, integrals, non-linear
equation systems and interpolation.
Sustainable development: Recycling. Green chemistry and
green engineering. Life cycle assessment.
Tools: Use of computers. Information competence. Project
work. Oral and written communaction.
Grading scale: TH
Assessment: Reports, Oral presentations, Poster Presentation. Hands-in, Computer Excercises, At least 75 % attendance at lectures about sustainable development. Final examination.
