The course is intended to give an overall overview of methods and theories for the identification, analysis and minimisation of risks, as well as mechanisms and calculus methods for hazardous events within the chemical industry.

Modern means and methods for identifying, analysing and minimizing risks within the process industry as well as mechanisms for hazardous events.
Comprehensive compulsory tasks solved with the aid of computers.

Assessment: Written examination, calculus tasks and project work. The student has to pass a written examination as well as perform compulsory tasks and a compulsory project work.
