The product is examined from a user centered and sociological perspective. The course also contains an industrially related project in which the insights obtained during the course are practiced. In this project the students work in groups of 3-4 students. Guidance is provided and the workshop is open for the students. The students plan when and how they work during the project. Industrial designers active in industry teach and give feedback on the project work. Field trip to design bureau is also included.
