Aim

The course aims for students to have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a particular subject and field of study to acquire a deeper ability to identify and solve problems on the basis of scientific evidence. In addition, the course aims to give the student a broader perspective on challenges related to the UN's sustainability goals.

The course also aims to train students in research work and project management in such a way that the project can be extended to a degree.

Contents

The course content is tailored to students previous choices and direction. Subject is selected and the project plans are submitted so that the student's previous knowledge is applied and deepened. If a project is multidisciplinary, another department could be involved in the project also.

The course is a project course based on the challenges related to the UN's sustainable goals.

Examination details

Grading scale: UG - (U,G) - (Fail, Pass)
Assessment: Written and oral reports are the basis for examination. Compulsory elements: • supervised project exercises • written report • closing seminar

The examiner, in consultation with Disability Support Services, may deviate from the regular form of examination in order to provide a permanently disabled student with a form of examination equivalent to that of a student without a disability.
