To practice the skill of sketching, drawing, painting, line drawing and modeling, in order to, through these and other means of expression, be able to reflect on the subject in relation to spatial conditions.

Sketching techniques, perspective, exercises in form representation and composition.
Analytical work on a certain object and studies of how a neutral spatial context is affected by lighting.
Exercises in 3-dimensional composition and graphic performance.
Experimental exercises about the relationship between object and place.
Grading scale: UG - (U, G) - (Fail, Pass)
Assessment:
Fulfilled assignments. 80% attendance at lectures and exercises.
The examiner, in consultation with Disability Support Services, may deviate from the regular form of examination in order to provide a permanently disabled student with a form of examination equivalent to that of a student without a disability.

The course has a clear practical and experimental nature. Each exercise begins with a lecture that provides the theoretical background and presents related examples. Any optional study trips or study visits are to be paid for by the student.
