Aim

The aim of this course is to develope a proficiency in prototyping Internet-based systems. The students will integrate knowledge from several courses in programming and communication through independent work.

Contents

This course focuses on prototyping an internet-based communikation system. In the course a solution is implemented that uses a modular system where the students can set their own design goals.

Examination details

Grading scale: UG - (U, G) - (Fail, Pass)
Assessment:

Approved project. The examination is a meeting with the examiner where each group presents their implementation and demonstrates a functioning system. All group members must participate and are expected to defend their technical choices and explain the decisions made during development.

The examiner, in consultation with Disability Support Services, may deviate from the regular form of examination in order to provide a permanently disabled student with a form of examination equivalent to that of a student without a disability.

Admission

Admission requirements:

Assumed prior knowledge: Accustomedness to work independently, and knowledge equivalent to one of the courses EITF25/EITA55/ETSF05/ETSF10/ETSF15/EITF45 and/or its course literature.
The number of participants is limited to: 40
Selection: Of the 40 places on the course, a maximum of 4 are reserved for exchange students. Selection for remaining places: Completed university credits within the programme. Priority is given to students enrolled on programmes that include the course in their curriculum.
