Aim

The project course is aiming at deepened studies within one of the fields of courses and research at the division of BME. Before you apply for the course, you must have defined a project together with a teacher/researcher at the division.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge and understanding
For a passing grade the student must

• independently deepen the knowledge and skills acquired in one af the advanced courses of the department, often in connection with a research project.

Competences and skills
For a passing grade the student must

• independently analyze and develop solutions to a given problem
• use the knowledge and skills acquired in one of the advanced courses of the department.

Judgement and approach
For a passing grade the student must

• be able to critically read, evaluate and draw conclusions from scientific literature

Contents

Theoretical end experimental studies within the chosen topic.

Examination details

Grading scale: UG - (U,G) - (Fail, Pass)
Assessment: Written report and oral presentation.

The examiner, in consultation with Disability Support Services, may deviate from the regular form of examination in order to provide a permanently disabled student with a form of examination equivalent to that of a student without a disability.

Admission

Admission requirements:

• Students from the five year programmes shall have passed at least 120 credits. Students from the international master programmes shall have passed 45 credits. AND At least one course in advanced level within the chosen scientific area and after discussion with the course coordinator a clear project idea
