The course aims to introduce digital tools for image processing, and thereby enable and facilitate the presentation of architectural projects.

To be formally approved, the student must demonstrate that he/she is able to describe and employ basic features of digital tools for image processing and presentation.
Competences and skills
For a passing grade the student must
To be formally approved, the student must demonstrate that
he/she:
• Understands and has a capability to work with the basic methods
of digital imaging and digital layout work in programs such as
Adobe Phototshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
• Is able to work with photographs and illustrations, as part of
a digital presentation of architectural projects.
• Is able to compile a simple but communicative, graphic
presentation with a combination of images, text and drawings.
Judgement and approach
For a passing grade the student must
To be formally approved, the student must demonstrate that
he/she:
• Is able to demonstrate a critical approach to different
presentation methods and techniques in image processing and
presentation.
The course introduces basic digital tools for image processing, imaging and layout, through lectures and guided exercises. Tutorials are selected to be relevant to architectural presentations.
Grading scale: UG - (U,G) - (Fail, Pass)
Assessment: To be formally approved, the student must attain a passing grade in all exercises.
The examiner, in consultation with Disability Support Services, may deviate from the regular form of examination in order to provide a permanently disabled student with a form of examination equivalent to that of a student without a disability.
