Aim

The objective of the course is to provide students with a possibility to apply and develop insights and knowledge from prior project courses. The objective is further to prepare students for a future professional career and facilitate an introduction to the industry. During the course students will gain field experience from working with real-world or semi-real projects.

Contents

The course contains lectures and seminars about project management and process models. Based on knowledge from the lectures and experiences from earlier project courses the students shall be able to design, build and test a system within the field of computer science. A summery and evaluation of the process shall be presented in a written report and a oral presentation. The mixture of lectures, supervision and project work will contribute to the students' learning.

Examination details

Grading scale: UG - (U,G) - (Fail, Pass)
Assessment: Examination is based on group assessment with written report and oral examination. Further requirements: Active participation in team building activities, team work, exercises, meetings with supervisor and an individually written report meeting the course standard.

The examiner, in consultation with Disability Support Services, may deviate from the regular form of examination in order to provide a permanently disabled student with a form of examination equivalent to that of a student without a disability.
