After completion of the second part of the course, students should have developed a basic skillset for 3D surface (NURBS) modelling in order to execute many of their own designs, create computer-generated images (CGI/renderings) and output data for rapid prototyping (3D printing) and transfer from and to other software.

Grading scale: UG - (U,G) - (Fail, Pass)
Assessment: A passing grade will be awarded based on 80% attendance, a multiple choice knowledge quiz, completion of the sample object and high-quality rendering thereof.
The examiner, in consultation with Disability Support Services, may deviate from the regular form of examination in order to provide a permanently disabled student with a form of examination equivalent to that of a student without a disability.
