Aim

Computer science and engineering is a broad area where many techniques and tools are used. The course gives the students an opportunity to use some of them, especially those that are used later during their studies on the program for Computer Science and Engineering..

Contents

Practical use of computers, computer history, the parts of a computer and how a computer works, low-level programming; data representation; typesetting with LaTeX; introduction to Matlab.

Examination details

Grading scale: UG - (U,G) - (Fail, Pass)
Assessment: To qualify for a passing grade, the students must have completed the compulsory laboratory exercises.

The examiner, in consultation with Disability Support Services, may deviate from the regular form of examination in order to provide a permanently disabled student with a form of examination equivalent to that of a student without a disability.
