Aim
The aim of the course is to study the potential and limitations of today’s and tomorrow’s scientific and technical developments through historical examples. Different themes are studied aimed at providing a general background and to illustrate historical development.

Contents
The course is greatly dependent on the participation of guest speakers from various faculties and departments who present interesting examples from history of technology. Each session involves a number of examples based on a theme (e.g. ship building, genetic engineering, communication technology, etc.).
