Credits: 3. Grading scale: TH. Optional for: I4XAI, I4XPEL, M3, V3. Course coordinator: Associate professor Everth Larsson, everth.larsson@tlog.lth.se, Teknisk logistik. Recommended prerequisites: MTT105 Logistics, MIO012-Managerial Economics, Basic Course and MIO022 Management Organization or equivalent knowledge. Assessment: To qualify for a final grade, students must have completed the compulstory hand-in tasks and passed the written examination. Aim
The overall objective is to give the student tools and methods as well as attitudes, principles, approaches and visionary perspectives within the area of process-based business development. In that way the student will achieve the basic skills needed for future active participation in the type of process orientation that more and more has come to dominate trade and industry.

Contents
Motives for process-based business development. Processes and the process view. Process-oriented organisations. Structure and leadership of process organizations. Customers and customer satisfaction. Identification and mapping of processes. Measurement systems for processes. Analysis and development of processes. Business development within a process paradigm.
