Aim
Procedures for process and plant design, and feasibility studies with consideration of safety and environmental aspects.

Contents
Overview of procedures for process and plant design. Feasibility studies and detailed design, computer-assisted design, time control and reporting. Staffing, vendors, consultants and project management. The idea and the invention, patents and licences. Capital cost estimation, operating costs. Investments, uncertainties and sensitivity analysis. Life costs. Solving of material and energy balances by means of flow sheets.
