Aim

The objective of the course is to provide an understanding of the legal and societal cultures concerning real estate in other countries as well as give a comparative perspective as to the Swedish real estate system. The course also provides an understanding of the importance of such systems, and an in depth understanding of the development and design of the Swedish system.

Contents

The course is presented as a series of lectures and seminars with the individual student contributing with independent investigative work.

The following issues are focussed:

Real estate law in developing and transitional countries that previously have had a socialistic system ar also addressed.

Examination details

Grading scale: TH - (U,3,4,5) - (Fail, Three, Four, Five)
Assessment: Compulsory participation in seminars and exercise classes, including notes/reports. Final individual written report.

The examiner, in consultation with Disability Support Services, may deviate from the regular form of examination in order to provide a permanently disabled student with a form of examination equivalent to that of a student without a disability.
