This course aims att giving the students knowledge and understanding concerning the actors, rules and legislation and processes that needs to be adressed in planning, production, running and maintenance of a building. Furthermore the coures aims at giving basic knowledge about project managament and project organisation.

In general the subject focuses on the construction process as a whole. Specific focus of will be on project planning techniques, scheduling, cost control, forms of contract, financing and quality management. The course will be based on a case fore analysis of processes, teory is given by lectures and literature. In the case assignment the student will apply project management principles for a property development project.

Examination details

Grading scale: TH - (U,3,4,5) - (Fail, Three, Four, Five)
Assessment: To achieve passing grade following are need: passed written exam and passed project assignment and compulsory seminars.

The examiner, in consultation with Disability Support Services, may deviate from the regular form of examination in order to provide a permanently disabled student with a form of examination equivalent to that of a student without a disability.
