Give a basic introduction to Internet and computer communication

For a passing grade the student must

Understand basics of computer communication

Know the most common Internet protocols

Have knowledge about Internet applications like Web and media-servers

Be oriented about computer security risks

Competences and skills
For a passing grade the student must

Know how to use Internet applications

Administer simple Web pages

Know how to use tools to analyze ethernet based communication protocols

Do simple security assesments

Judgement and approach
For a passing grade the student must

Be familiar with communication architecture and protocols of the Internet

Be oriented about common Internet applications like Web

Assessment: Examination by approved labs and written exam.
