Scalar and vector fields. Gradient and divergence. Surface integrals and the divegence theorem. Applications to heat conduction and electrical currents. Spherical and cylindrical coordinates. Curl and Stokes theorem. Potentials and singular fields.

Required prior knowledge: FMA420 Linear Algebra, FMAA05 Calculus in One Variable, FMA430 Calculus in Severable Variables, FMEA05 Engineering Mechanics - Statics and Particle Dynamics, FMEA20 Mechanics - Dynamics.
