Aim
The course will give the students knowledge how to produce
drawings, in two and three dimensions, by using Autodesks software
Autocad Architecture.
Learning outcomes
Knowledge and understanding
For a passing grade the student must
- Understand the fundamentals in a drawing
- Understand the meaning of different linetypes
- Understand how to scale objects in CAD
Competences and skills
For a passing grade the student must
- Be able to manage drawings in 2 dimensions
- Be able to manage scales, dimensioning and text
- Be able to manage basic commands and visualisation in three
dimensions
- Be able to manage object-oriented CAD and visualisation in two-
and three dimensions
- Be able to plot the drawings
Judgement and approach
For a passing grade the student must
- Be able to valuate different methods of modelling for a
specific task
- Be able to see that Autocad Architecture is a tool for
producing drawings
- Be able to see that Autocad Architecture is a tool for the
practising engineer

- Repetition in 2D- and technical drawing
- The fundamentals in 3D drawing
- How to visualize in CAD
- Information systems and information systematic of the building
business with application
- Object-oriented CAD
Examination details
Grading scale: UG
Assessment: Accepted assignments.
Admission
Required prior knowledge: VTVA10 Engineering skills with CAD,
VBFA01 Building Technology and Building Services.
The number of participants is limited to: 100
Selection: Credits remaining for the degree.
The course might be cancelled: If the number of applicants is less than 30.
