The objective of this course is to teach the principles of methods used to create digital models in a parametric CAD-system and to provide better understanding of the complete process chain from the creation of computer-based models to their physical realisation.

The education is performed by lectures and exercises. The theoretical part of the course aims to increase knowledge about solid modelling methods and their application potential. The practical part of the course aims to enable the student to use solid modelling and consists of exercises with increasing complexity.

Assessment: Computer based exam in the relevant CAD software.
