The aim of the course is to strengthen the student's knowledge and skills of control, to give experience of participation in a geographically distributed project team, and to give experience of working in an international project team with the cultural clashes that follow from this.

Contents: This course is given in cooperation with University of Kaiserslautern (TUKL), Germany. A project consists of 6-12 students from LTH and around the same number of students from TUKL. The project task is based on an real industrial problem from a German industry. During the fall the German students start up the project. In the beginning of VT LP1 the German students inform the Swedish students about the project and the two groups work remotely on the project. Communication is handled using email, wiki, phone and video conferences etc. During the course a physical meeting between the students will take place. The project reported in a report and through a presentation.
The course is normally taught in English.

Assessment: Accepted project.
The number of participants is limited to: 12
Selection: The criteria that will be used to select is the number of control courses taken and the results on these courses.
The course might be cancelled: If the number of applicants is less than 4.
