General Information

Main field: Technology.
Compulsory for: Pi1
Language of instruction: The course will be given in Swedish

Aim

The purpose with the course is that the student shall acquire basic knowledge in thermodynamics and quantum physics with a focus on applications. Understanding within these areas is central for the conceptualization within rapidly expanding areas of technology. The course should also give exercise in problem solving, model thinking, experimental work, and written communication. The course also means to stimulate the student to reflection regarding how the course content relates to everyday physical phenomena.
