To give deep knowledge and skills in the chosen scientific area. The project must be on advanced level with a clear connection to research. The project should be performed independently, preferably with two students together. Optionally, the project can be chosen in connection to the thesis work.

Have a good understanding in how to carry on a research project

Independently plan, perform, and report the project
