To give experience of building, installing and running a small industrial automation system
Knowledge and understanding
For a passing grade the student must
be able to analyze the specification of an equipment for automation
be able to project an installation regarding function, security and environment
be able to select material and design an equipment for automation
Competences and skills
For a passing grade the student must
be able to participate in an automation project
be able to evaluate, document and execute the programming and configuration of processor based units
be able to use electric materials according to current security standards
Judgement and approach
For a passing grade the student must
feel the self confidence to be able to design a small industrial automation equipment

Design of an electric installation
Constructional drawings in eg CAD
Documentation of an automation installation
Specification of spare parts
