The aim of the course is to give an understanding of how theory and practice are mutually dependent done by theoretical studies related to the built environment. These studies deal with matters like spatial relationships, construction, material, sizes, scale etc.

The studies focus on matters of architectural relations and the tectonic qualities of buildings related to specific issues and themes in the related course City Space – Dwelling Space 1. The course contains lectures, exercises, studies of literature concerning different approaches and bodies of theory, as well as study tours, actively prepared and reported.
Grading scale: UG
Assessment: Active participation at all course section such as lectures, seminars and exercises. Satisfactorily completed papers and exercises.
