Aim
Co-operatives are also known as tenant-owned apartments. The objective of the course is to provide those persons working with real estate development, either at banks or management companies, with the knowledge and skills necessary within this continuously increasing segment of the real estate market, where the regulations concerning mortgage deeds and conveyances as well as the requirements as to the forms and decisions of cooperative housing associations are central.

Knowledge and understanding
For a passing grade the student must

· Be able to master the fundamental legal regulations concerning purchasing, mortgaging, renting and association forms that determine how cooperative housing rights are created, acquired and managed.

Understand the differences between co-operative housing and other forms tenancy.
