EMERGENCY AND DISASTER MANAGEMENTVBR225
Credits: 15. Grading scale: UG. Cycle: G2 (First Cycle). Main field: Technology. Language of instruction: The course might be given in English. VBR225 overlaps following cours/es: TFRU01 and VBR220. Optional for: BI4, RH4. Course coordinator: Associate senior lecturer Marcus Abrahamsson, marcus.abrahamsson@brand.lth.se, Fire Safety Engineering. Prerequisites: Minimum 120 study points. The course might be cancelled if the number of applicants is less than 15. The number of participants is limited to 40 Selection criteria: Credits remaining for the degree. Assessment: Oral individual examination and approved individual assignments and group projects. The group project shall be reported both orally and in writing. The written report shall follow the Department of Safety Engineering's regulations regarding assignments at Level II, (http://www.brand.lth.se/utbild/inuppgkrav.pdf). Further information: Group assignments require active participation. Each group member must individually be able to account for the content of the assignment. If a group member does not fulfill the demands of the group or ignores hers/his commitment, she/he can be reassigned to another group or get a fail result.
