Aim
The subject aims in increasing the awareness of market for construction companies, business concept, leadership management, organisation, economy, quality and environmental system and strategy. Furthermore essential knowledge are important to enable construction projects to be carried out with regard to time and resource planning, quality assurance, safety, tendering and production calculations etc. that takes place in a construction company. Overall the aim of the subject is to cultivate leadership qualities and administration of production of construction projects.

Knowledge and understanding
For a passing grade the student must

• Interpret tender document and draw up a tender.

Skills and abilities
For a passing grade the student must

• Plan a normal construction project with respect to the demand of the working environment.

• Establish production calculation in the early stage and evaluate uncertain factors

• Determine the right level of quality and environmental plan.

Judgement and approach
For a passing grade the student must

• Understand construction companies’ situation in a given market.

• Accumulate relevant factors and be able to report both orally and in written form for an on-going construction project.

• Assess dispute in a construction project and how to tackle it.

Contents
In general the subject focuses on the construction process as a whole. Specific emphasis will be on time scheduling and cost control during construction process. In addition project monitoring, quality assurance, leadership qualities and company management will also be taught
