REHABILITATION ENGINEERINGTNX097
Credits: 7,5. Grading scale: TH. Cycle: G2 (First Cycle). Main field: Technology. Language of instruction: The course will be given in Swedish. TNX097 overlaps following cours/es: TNS120 and TNX096. Optional for: C4, C4da, D4, E4, E4mt, F4, F4mt, M4, MD4. Course coordinator: Håkan Neveryd, university instructor, hakan.neveryd@certec.lth.se. Prerequisites: At least 90 credits awarded or credited within the Master of Science programme. The course might be cancelled if the number of applicants is less than 15. The number of participants is limited to 35 Selection criteria: Credits remaining for degree completion according to Ladok June 17th. Assessment: The assessment will be based on individual and group work. A grade of 3 will be given to students who pass individual compulsory assignments, the take-home exam, project work and interface analysis in groups. Aim
The course aims to be an eye-opener as to how technology can create possibilities for people with disabilities. Knowledge about the technology user, user interfaces and the ability to understand the process as a whole will be important characteristics of an engineer in the design process of the future.
