Aim
The overall purpose of the course is to provide the students with an understanding for and the skills in how to organize a project within a logistics context, from the identification of a problem area to the development of a proposition for a solution. The course is based on earlier courses within the logistics field and gives the students the opportunity for deepening and practically applying the theoretical knowledge which has been provided in earlier courses. By independently working with company based projects, the students are trained in small groups in identifying, theorizing, analyzing and solving a company problem within a chosen area of logistics. In order to support this work, the course e.g. provides knowledge in research methodology, project methodology, tools to structure and attack problems, report writing and presentation techniques.
