Aim
The aim of the course is for students to acquire in-depth abilities to identify and solve work and/or usability related problems and, based on research findings, be able to plan and design:

so that a quality work environment/usability is obtained in regards to different production conditions as well as production and function specifications. The course also aims to train students in investigatory work and project management so that the project can be expanded to become the basis of a master’s thesis.

Contents
The contents are adapted to students’ previous choices and areas of concentration. Exercises are chosen and project plans structured to apply and expand the students’ previous knowledge in working environment engineering. The project can be related to other fields of study after having reached an agreement with the appropriate department. If necessary there are study tours for purposes of inventory and environmental studies.
