Aim
To learn methods and techniques that enable the students to create a professional industrial design portfolio and job application.

Knowledge and understanding
For a passing grade the student must

Upon completion, the students shall be able to compose their CV/Résumé, gather project information and relevant images in order to create and professionally lay out their design portfolio in such manner as to successfully communicate their personality and level of creativity.

Judgement and approach
For a passing grade the student must

take an active part in lectures and exercises, complete the home assignments and present a portfolio.

Contents
The course consists of lectures and individual critics to evaluate progress and home assignments

The course commences with an introduction about the significance of the CV/Résumé and portfolio in job applications. The lecture covers job research, information gathering, project preparation and execution of job applications (cover-letter writing, CV/Résumé writing, portfolio layout, digital portfolios, online portfolios, etc.).
