Assessment: The grades awarded range from 5 to 3 wherein 3 equals “passed”, depending on attendance, participation, completion of home assignments and quality of final presentation. To be introduced to the basic techniques used in transportation design.

Knowledge and understanding
For a passing grade the student must

be able to present a design for a product through sketches, renderings and sketch models as well as orally and digitally present the initial idea, concept, design process and final result.

The course consists of lectures and group critics. The lecture covers the making and uses of “mood boards”, sketching techniques, Adobe Photoshop renderings and presentation techniques.
