COMPUTER ENGINEERING OVERVIEW

EDT632

Credits: 6. Grading scale: UG. Cycle: G1 (First Cycle). Main field: Technology. Language of instruction: The course will be given in Swedish. EDT632 overlaps following cours/es: EDT630, EDT631, EDTA01 and EEIA01. Compulsory for: IDA1. To give an overview and introduction to various courses contained in the program.

Contents
The sectional course Introduction contains:

A brief introduction to the various courses contained in the program
A brief introduction to entrepreneurship
Guest lectures given by representatives from the industry
Seminars in study techniques and career counseling

The sectional course on Computer Technology will provide an overview on computer construction and insight into how it functions. The computers building blocks are presented, hardware as well as software. The areas treated are:

Basic terms: Computer, programme and system
Basic principles. Computer construction.

The sectional course on Presentation Technique is comprised of the following:

Interpersonal communication in Swedish
Information retrieval
Oral proficiencys.
