OPERATING SYSTEMS - PROJECTEDAF01
Credits: 3. Grading scale: UG. Cycle: G2 (First Cycle). Main field: Technology. Language of instruction: The course will be given in Swedish. EDAF01 overlaps following cours/es: EDA055. Optional for: C4, D4, D4is, E4, E4pv, F4, Pi4. Course coordinator: Assoc.prof. Jonas Skeppstedt,, Jonas.Skeppstedt@cs.lth.se, Computer Science. Prerequisites: EDAA01 Programming - Second Course or EDA027 Algorithms and Data Structures. Recommended prerequisits: Compulsory parts in EDA050 Operative System. Aim
The purpose of the course is that the students should get a deeper understanding about how an operating system can be constructed by doing an implementation assignment as a project. The contents of the project is selected by the course responsible and can for instance be to compare different methods of dynamic memory allocation.
