DESIGN OF EMBEDDED SYSTEMS, ADVANCED COURSEEDA385
Credits: 7,5. Grading scale: UG. Cycle: A (Second Cycle). Main field: Technology. Language of instruction: The course might be given in English. Optional for: D5, D5dpd, D5is, E5, E5dpd, MSOC1. Course coordinator: Flavius Gruian, flavius.gruian@cs.lth.se, Computer Science. Prerequisites: EDA011/EDA016/EDA017 Programming, First Course and EDA380/EDAF20 Design of Embedded Systems. Recommended prerequisits: Exchange students are required to have knowledge of C/C++ or Java. They are also required to have knowledge of VHDL or another hardware description language. Aim
The main goal of this course is to give hands-on experience in embedded systems design, using real life industrial methods, focusing on both hardware and software components. This is a natural follow up of the more theoretical course EDAF20.
