Aim
The construction client has a unique opportunity to affect the implementation of a construction project.Byggherren This course aims at giving an understanding about the role of the construction client and an insight into the opportunities for the construction client to manage a change process. Further the course will cover the rules and legislations that control he procurement of a construction project.

Contents
The course deals with long term client stratgies in the procurement och buildings and other constructions., with emphasis on the importance of choosing the appropriate form of procurement and cooperation. The role of the construction client as a change agent is another subject wcich covers innovation and system integration, impact analysis and mesurements of change. The rules and legislations concerning the procurement of construction projects is another important issue that the course in relation to the specifications concerning performance, implementation, quality and the environment.
