Contents
The following subjects are dealt with in the course: Stress and strain analyses, mainly the state of plain stress. The three simple loadcases; uniaxial traction force, torque and bending moments applied to straight bars. Statically indeterminate beams. Fatigue. Rheological models. In connection to the different subjects some applications are shown such as pressure vessels, natural vibrations and critical speeds. The course also includes some laboratory experiments.
