Contents
Boolean algebra. States are important concept for construction of digital systems. Syncronous sequential circuits are introduced as a way to realise the behaviour of the state transition graphs.

Digital components: Decoder, memory, AD- and DA-converters, processors, parallel port,serialport and programmable components.

During the main part of the course the students design, develop, build, debug, and document a system of their own choice. A catalogue of suggested projects is available. At the beginning of the course some lectures are given in order to support the project activities. Each group of two gets their own lab desk with all the necessary instruments and tools that they can use throughout the course. During office hours supervisors are available for advice and troubleshooting.
