Contents
The city is considered as a continuous, spatial organisation with qualities allowing for changes in use in a long time span. The project includes studies of spatial relationships from landscape scale to detailed buildings.

The interest is focused on the relationship between specific buildings and the global context. We explore in what way a specific insertion in a built fabric can effect and support the vital existing layers of significance. The town and surrounding landscape will be studied as a whole interdependent structure.

Continuous critic is given at table in groups and to support the design process there are lectures, seminars and study trips (see the compulsory theoretical deepening course).

Literature
On every lecture-seminar occasion literature will be distributed as a basis for the conclusive seminar
A lot of abstracts from books and reviews will be delivered before the seminars.
