Higher education credits: 7,5. Grading scale: TH. Level: G2 (First level). Language of instruction: The course will be given in Swedish. Optional for: L4fr. Course coordinator: Professor Ulf Jensen, ulf.jensen@lantm.lth.se, Fastighetsvetenskap. Prerequisites: VFR140 Introductory law and real estate law. Assessment: Individual examination at the end of the course. Further information: The course is taught Swedish in co-operation with the Real Estate Agent Program at Malmö Högskola. All lectures are given in Malmö.

Aim
The objective of the course is to provide those persons working with real estate development, either at banks or management companies, with the knowledge and skills necessary within this continuously increasing segment of the real estate market, where the regulations concerning mortgage deeds and conveyances as well as the requirements as to the forms and decisions of cooperative housing associations are central.

Knowledge and understanding
For a passing grade the student must

Be able to master the fundamental legal regulations concerning purchasing, mortgaging, renting and association forms that determine how cooperative housing rights are created, acquired and managed.
