Assessment: Pass with submission of all assignments and project work. Final grades will be acquired only when all assignments and project work meets the passing grades. With the perspective of community and clients responsibility in view, the course deals with the leadership roll in conditions such as feasibility study, design and production stages in a construction project. Project management, project methodology and construction management stress on how the collaboration between different actors is made possible.

Theories on leadership and ethics and how different individuals can function in a group and also management’s responsibilities on organisation’s quality and environmental work is also part of the course.

The pedagogical idea and the overall goal for the course within the Project Work in construction process is to give students an insight and understanding for the construction industry’s working condition through students’ project work which is linked to an actual construction project in the region. Students’ work are carried out with the aid of different types of public authorities and industry’s contact and the same time students manage the construction process working on their own with different working elements that occurs from inception of idea until completion. These processes give students knowledge on how work is performed in practical activity.

Lectures, exercises and course material support the ongoing case work and relate to the detail parts in general. Great emphasis lies in the integration of education of an overall view of the detailed parts. The course deals with standard and determined associated to the detailed parts.
