Aim
The subject aims to expose students the possibilities of being involved in different stages of the construction process and demonstrate their ability and confidence in applying the knowledge gained during the whole course. The subject will also prepare the students for future exams. Course afu-part consists of project lecture. Guest lectures aims at tying the course to a real construction project and understanding various actorsÂ’ roles in the construction process.

Contents
After a common introduction students will work independently on certain occasion with advance guidance. During the course discussion forums will be carried out both orally and written. The project assignment is based on a hypothesis related to the construction process. Hypothesis shall be examined and analysed from both the theoretical and practical perspective. Students will present the results in the form of report writing and oral presentation. Reports must have the common features such as aims, method and conclusions. Techniques of quoting references and sources will be discussed during the course.
The afu-part course begins with a week of project lecture followed up by a seminar conducted by guest lectures.
