Higher education credits: 4,5. Grading scale: TH. Level: G2 (First level). Language of instruction: The course will be given in Swedish. Optional for: N3, N3nel, N3nf. Aim
The aim of this course is to give a presentaion of the basic theory of quantum mechanics with applications.

Contents
Basic formalism. Hermitian operators and eigenvalues. First order pertubation theory, variational methods and matrix diagonalization. Spherical symmetry and angular momentum. Spin and magnetic interaction. Periodical potentials and Bloch wave functions.
