Recommended prerequisits: EDA061 Object-oriented Modelling and Design. Accustomedness to work independently. The number of participants is limited to 40 Selection criteria: Selection is based on the following courses: ETS051 Datorkommunikation (D, E), EDA050 Operativsystem (D, E), EDA040 Realtidsprogrammering or FRT031 Realtidssystem (D, E), but not both, ETS032 Programvaruutveckling för stora system (D), EDA011 Programmeringsteknik (E) or EDA060 Objektorienterad modellering och design (D), but not both, EDI021 Digitala projekt (D, E) or EDI022 Digitala projekt (D, E), but not both, ETT051 Digital Kommunikation (D, E). The aim of this course is to illustrate the process of programming an embedde system.

Contents
This course focuses on the protocol suite for data communication, particularly TCP/IP. A web server is implemented during the course. The program is written in C++. The course contains six compulsory laboratory exercises.
