Higher education credits: 7,5. Grading scale: UG. Level: A (Second level). Language of instruction: The course will be given in English on demand. Optional for: D4, E4, E4em, I4, M4. Recommended prerequisits: At least one of the courses EIE015 Power Electronics, EIE030 Electric Power Systems, EIE050 Design of Electrical Machines, MIE041 Measurements Systems for Control, EIE070 Mechatronics, MIE080 Automation, MIE090 Automation for Complex Systems with grade 4 or 5. Aim
The project course is aiming at deepened studies within one of the fields of courses and research at IEA (Dept of Ind Electric Eng and Automation)

Knowledge and understanding
For a passing grade the student must

deepen and independently use the knowledge and skills acquired in one af the advanced courses of the department, often in connection with a research project.

Skills and abilities
For a passing grade the student must

independently design, develop, and appreciate solutions to a given problem
use the knowledge and skills acquired in one of the advanced courses of the department.

Judgement and approach
For a passing grade the student must

be able to communicate with researchers in the chosen area.

Contents
Theoretical studies. Possible experimental verification in one of IEAs research projects.

Literature
Defined at the start of the project, depending on the area of the project.
