Assessment: Successfully to complete the course, a student must attend not less than eighty per cent of the lectures and study visits; actively take part in preliminary and final assessments; and gain approval for his or her project. Aim
The course aims to give knowledge of, and an ability to discuss, urban development, its architectural values, qualities and values to be conserved in units of architecture and the environment, as well as the architecture of what can be built on vacant urban sites.

Contents
The course addresses the history of architecture in development from a dynamical perspective of tranformation. Temporal periods and preservation qualities are discussed.
