Higher education credits: 7,5. Grading scale: UG. Level: G2 (First level). Language of instruction: The course might be given in English. Optional for: BI3, D4, E4, L4, V4, W3. Aim
The aim of the course is to give basic knowledge about environmental psychology, its research tradition, methods and application. Furthermore the course aims to give basic knowledge about how environmental psychology could be used in practice.

Contents
Structure and content: The course consists mainly of lectures and assignments that are presented at seminars. The content of the course is man in relation to the physical and psychosocial environment and the interaction between them. The following parts are included: The emotions of man, stress reactions, personality, methods for measuring the experience of the environment, environmental related complaints, the need of elderly and children, life style and global environmental issues, human impact on the environment, and the impact of different environmental factors such as light and colour.
