SIMULATION TOOLS | FMN145 |
Aim
In the transition from mathematics courses to different engineering courses shall the students experience how mathematical methods are applied in industrial simulation tools. This applies especially to ordinary differential equations (with algebraic constraints) as well as methods for nonlinear systems and eigenvalues. Softwaretools are ADAMS, SIMPACK, SPICE and DYMOLA
Knowledge and understanding
For a passing grade the student must
- be familiar with the softwares purpose
- be able to evaluate simulation results.
