Higher education credits: 9. Grading scale: TH. Level: A (Second level). Language of instruction: The course will be given in Swedish. VBE041 overlap following cours/es: VBE040. Optional for: L4fu, V4fu, V4ib. Course coordinator: Senior lecturer Anne Landin, anne.landin@bekon.lth.se, Byggnadsekonomi. Prerequisites: For V4 valid VBE110 Project Methodology or VTG100 Project Methodology and Geology engineering, VBE024 Construction Process and Production System, VBE031 Real Estate Management and MTT202 Logistic in Construction Process. For L4 valid VBE031 Real Estate Management. For A4 valid VBE051 Construction Process. For others valid individual assessment.. The course might be cancelled if the numer of applicants is less than 10. The number of participants is limited to 25 Selection criteria: Entry place is based on the number of academic points achieved within the respective programme upon application. Those with the same points, lot will be drawn to determine entry. Assessment: Examination will be based upon group work. Oral presentation and written report of project documentation which comprises of project planning, inquiries basis and final report. Final report is of opinion based examination. A procurement protocol drawn from negotiation with an entrepreneur. A decision making base on the complete inquiries on the construction permission for an entrepreneur. Further information: Number of course members (max/min) 25/10. Selection of course members is based on the numberts of academic marks within the respective education progrmme. Aim
The subject aims to expose students to the overall picture of construction process and the link between different parties and give added knowledge on the role of a project manager. Students undertaking this subject will be able to develop their personality and attitude towards construction management and gain confidence in their competencies.

Contents
This subject will train students on the practical aspects of managing a project based on project directive, planning and project information. Students will also learn how to instill close working collaboration between the clients, the entrepreneurs, the public authorities and all parties involved.
